1.  My cockatiel is pulling feathers through it's beak, what does this mean?
It is grooming itself and as long as no feathers are pulled out you should leave the bird
alone.

2.  My cockatiel is scratching it's head?
The bird is preening this is a daily routine and as long as the bird isn't scratching only in one
place the bird is fine and should be left alone.

3.  The bird is shaking itself and making a rustling noise?
It is settling it's feathers into the correct place, it is ready for some play time.

4.  My bird is raising it's wings above it's body?
It is stretching itself, your bird wants to fly free for a while.

5.  My bird's head is facing backwards and is somewhat buried in it's feathers?
If the bird is almost motionless believe it or not it is sleeping, cockatiels can swivel their
heads a full 180 degrees.
If your bird is shaking it's head it might have an itch or it is re-adjusting it's feathers.

6.  My bird is standing on one leg?
It is most likely relaxing the other leg you may want to check on your bird every now and
then if it does this without stopping because the leg may be injured

7.  Some activities you will see your bird do daily are:
Scratching
Shaking
Fluffing all feathers briefly
Rubbing it's beak against hard or rough surfaces momentarily
Yes, and even Yawning
